Ruhr District Tour 28 Tales of dwarven king Goldemar, warlock Bottermann and other wondrous things
For this year we arranged something completely "new" for you. We want to leave established ways and direct you on the paths of the past into really fabulous and long forgotten worlds of the Ruhr valley.
This hiking tour leads you on a 8 km long circuit into an old drift, to the Castle Hardenstein ruin, a miners' temple, Castle Steinhausen through the Mutten valley - across the world of legends of Witten.
You may listen to mysterious stories of the discovery of coal, the mountain spirit, dwarven king Goldemar, an enchanted treasure, an ugly dwarf and warlock Bottermann.
